River and Bridge 4 is a finalist in the 2012 Outback Art Award at Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery. It consists of four woodcuts each 60 x 60cm on four separate sheets of handmade Chinese paper. Each panel explores a different stage of a river’s life, from clean flow to sluggishness and stress. Red represents the blood of a river. The research was based on the Hunter River in NSW.
